Freshly groomed, this Scottish Terrier is finally ready for its beauty contest! Its tousled coat has been carefully brushed and its distinctive and almost “stylized” appearance gives it a charm all its own.
Originating from Great Britain, this dog breed is a very old one. Its traditional name is the “Scottie”. Small but stocky, this hardy, brave little dog was used to drive quarry from its burrow. It has a long head and upright pointy ears. Its coat is coarse, rough and thick, and may be black, wheat-brown or brindle. Today, Scottish Terriers are mainly used as pets. Though not particularly demonstrative, they are very attached to their owners. This is a dog with a strong personality.
